Terms of Service
Last updated October 14, 2026
These terms are an agreement between Shobha Gupta, trading as CostReveal, a sole proprietorship based in Gurugram, India ("CostReveal", "we"), and the organization that creates a CostReveal account ("the customer", "you"). The person who accepts them confirms they may bind that organization. A signed order form or enterprise agreement takes precedence over these terms where the two differ.
The service
CostReveal attributes a customer's AI, cloud and API spend to the teams, features and customers behind it, from billing and usage data the customer connects. We provide it as a hosted service and may improve it over time. We will not remove a core capability of a paid plan during a paid period without telling you in advance.
Accounts
You are responsible for the people you invite, the roles you give them, and keeping sign in credentials secure. Tell us promptly at security@costreveal.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
Your data
You own the data you connect or enter ("customer data"). You give us permission to process it only to provide, secure and support the service for you, as described in the Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these terms. We do not sell customer data or use it to train models.
You confirm that you have the right to connect the provider accounts you connect, and that CostReveal may read their billing and usage data on your behalf.
Acceptable use
You will not use CostReveal to break the law, to attack or probe the service or other customers, to get around its limits or security, or to resell it without our written agreement.
Plans, trials and fees
The free trial lasts for the period shown on the pricing page and includes the limits shown there. Paid plans are priced per organization and billed in advance, monthly or yearly, as set out on the pricing page or in your order. Starter and Pro are paid by card through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew for the same period until cancelled; a cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for. Enterprise is invoiced on the terms of your order. Fees exclude taxes, which are added where they apply. We give at least 30 days' notice before changing the price of a plan you are paying for.
Figures and estimates
CostReveal labels every attributed figure with its basis; figures labelled UNKNOWN have not been attributed. Figures marked as not yet invoiced come before the provider's invoice, or from a provider that states none, and may change when it arrives. CostReveal is a reporting tool and not accounting, tax or financial advice. You remain responsible for the decisions you make with it.
Confidentiality
Each party will keep the other's non public information confidential and use it only for this agreement, with the same care it uses for its own, and at least reasonable care.
Security and availability
We protect customer data with the measures described on our security page and in the Data Processing Agreement. We aim to keep the service available at all times, apart from announced maintenance. Service level commitments apply only where an enterprise agreement sets them out.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using CostReveal and ask us to delete your organization at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, with notice where the breach can be fixed. When the agreement ends, your figures stay readable for 30 days, and you can download them as reports and CSV files, after which we delete customer data, except where the law requires us to keep it.
Warranties
We will provide the service with reasonable skill and care. Apart from that, and to the extent the law allows, the service is provided as is, without other warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose.
Liability
Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue or data, except where the law does not allow this to be limited. Each party's total liability under this agreement is limited to the fees the customer paid in the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply to a breach of confidentiality, to your payment obligations, or to liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will update the date above and tell account owners by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the change.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Gurugram, Haryana have exclusive jurisdiction, unless an enterprise agreement says otherwise.
